AT&T Brings LTE Roaming to 13 Additional Countries Outside US

Still the only carrier offering such a service, AT&T announced from MWC today that they have expanded their 4G LTE roaming service to 13 new countries outside of the United States, bringing the total to 15 markets.

AT&T currently holds agreements to allow for LTE roaming in over 200 different countries, but deploying such a service is easier said than done. The service for travelers certainly costs a pretty penny, and AT&T has yet to announce official pricing for the new markets.

As reference, for travelers to the UK who wish to have access to 4G LTE, the plans are $30/mo for 120MB, $60/mo for 300MB, and $120/mo for 800MB. If you already pay for a data plan in the US, then you can imagine how easy it would be for your data plan to start costing you an insane amount.

Take a look at the full list of new markets below.
