Make that five different tablets that Samsung has announced this past month – there is the Galaxy NotePro 12.2, the Galaxy TabPro 12.2, the TabPro 10.1, the TabPro 8.4, and now the newest addition to the family, the Galaxy Tab3 Lite. The Tab3 Lite is most certainly an entry level device, running specs that would send most Android enthusiasts running for the hills. For starters, it sports a 7″ display with a resolution of just 1024 x 600, while also running Android 4.2 with TouchWiz on top. Should you expect an update to Kit Kat? I wouldn’t put money on it.
Other specs include a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 2MP rear-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD slot for up to 32GB of storage, 3G HSPA+ radios, and a 3,600mAh battery.
From the overall package Samsung is showing off here, our hope is that this tablet comes in with a very low retail price. Once pricing and availability are announced, we will let you know.
Are you interested in a cheapy tablet running TouchWiz and Android 4.2?
