The second rendition of SEGA’s Sonic All-Stars Racing hit Google Play last night, titled All-Stars Racing Transformed. The game costs $4.99 through Google Play, quite the price tag for a kart racer. The game is much like the original Sonic Racing title for Android, as you can play many of your favorite characters throughout many different levels. Better yet, SEGA states that in a future update, an “ultimate multiplayer” experience will launch, which should definitely give you your money’s worth.
What’s sad to see is that even after a $4.99 purchase, there appears to still be a few in-app purchases. What exactly you need to buy, we don’t quite know yet. It could be upgrades for your karts, most likely. Fingers crossed it’s nowhere near as bad as Angry Birds Go!
