If you were thinking of getting someone in your life a Nexus device, Google just went and made the decision a little bit easier for you. Google Play just announced that starting today, purchasing a Nexus 7 also nets you a $25 gift card to the Play Store to spend on awesome things.
In addition to the gift card, Google is also giving orders starting today free shipping to make sure you can put that money to use on other holiday gifts. The only thing that makes a shiny new Nexus tablet better is having a few dollars to spend on media, apps and games to use on it. No word on how long this promotion will last, but the sooner you get on it, the better.
