DROID XYBOARD Receiving Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update, System Version 98.8.127

DROID XYBOARD 10.1 owners, if you still exist, you should be receiving Android 4.1.2 “Jelly Bean” at any moment thanks to Verizon and Motorola. After going months and months without word on the update, Motorola finally committed to releasing Jelly Bean to the neglected VZW tablet, they just gave us no indication as to when that might happen. Randomly tonight, a reader of ours received it.

With the 4.1.2 update, you’ll get Google Now! Actually, you get all that came with Jelly Bean like Project Butter, expandable notifications, voice search, resizable widgets, and more.

To try and pull the update, head into Settings>About tablet>System updates.
