Google pushed one of its monthly Google Glass updates to Explorers this morning, which brings a few new features and more bug fixes. The big additions in the XE11 update are new voice commands for when wanting to navigate yourself home or work from wherever you are, as well as a new calendar search feature.
When it comes to navigating to home or work, users can simply say “Ok Glass, get directions to home/work” and then you are on your way. This is Google’s attempt at integrating personal search right into the system. Google also baked in a new calendar search feature, which can be started by saying, “Ok glass, google what am I doing next week?” From here, your itinerary will be displayed on the screen and you can see what’s on your plate for the days ahead.
There are a few more little things, but that’s it when it comes to new features. For the full release details, check out the via links down below.
P.S. Did anyone catch Kellen rocking Glass on yesterday’s early DL Show? What did you think? Tell him he looks good, because he is sort of self conscience about it so far.
