The team of Paranoid Android launched Halo, their floating notifications solution, back in May of this year. Since then, it has become a very popular feature among the rooted community, with other developers even taking the source code to create their own standalone applications.
With all of that said, the team introduced Halo 2.0 last Friday. It is baked into the newest builds of PA, and features some fantastic improvements over the original Halo. The boys made a video showing off the new Halo, which we placed above. To sum it up in words, the “app” features multi-touch now, deals with way more than just viewing notifications (handles built-in system settings), and lots more.
Builds are already available on the servers, so if you are interested in giving Halo 2.0 a try, go for it. Make sure to create a backup, then flash the new ROM zip and the Gapps zip following that.
Let us know what you think.
