Play Cube Slam, Another Fun Chrome Experiment to Play With Friends

If you and your friends are using the Chrome web browser from Google, then you can both be enjoying some Cube Slam, a Chrome Experiement that brings face-to-face action right to your desktop. The game itself is pretty much like pong, except there are occasional obstacles, as well as power ups through the back and forth gameplay.

You control the left and right arrows on your keyboard to control the platform, making sure you don’t allow the ball to go behind you. While you play the game, you can see your friend and also chat at the same time via microphone. Kellen and myself gave it a whirl, exchanging a few laughs as he completely annihilated me. Oh well, better luck next time!

Here is the developer’s way of explaining the game, much better than I probably can.

Cube Slam is a video game that you can play face-to-face against your friends. It’s a Chrome Experiment built usingWebRTC, an open web technology that lets you video chat right in the browser without installing any plug-ins. That means you can quickly and easily play Cube Slam with your friends, no matter where they are in the world, just by sharing a link.

And there you have it. Go have some fun with friends by going to www.cubeslam.com.
