AT&T announced this morning that they will exclusively carry the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 with LTE here in the U.S. at some point in the coming weeks. Yes, another “exclusive” for AT&T. Oh how we love limiting consumer choices! (/s.)
As you may recall, the Galaxy Note 8.0 with WiFi arrived in the U.S. back in April for $399, however, this is the first with wireless network connectivity. The device sports a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 4,600 mAh battery, 8″ HD display (189ppi), 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, 16GB internal storage, microSD slot for expansion, and Android 4.1 (with TouchWiz).
You’ll find S Pen features, and all of the other multi-tasking and productivity goodies you have come to love on devices like the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note 10.1. It is a “Note” after all.
It’s a solid little tablet that Tim has already spent plenty of time with.
Once we know a price and date for this little guy, we’ll be sure to pass it along. And you probably figured this out already, but since they nabbed the “exclusive,” it won’t be coming to any other carriers for the time being.
