Last week, the Nexus 10’s first official accessory arrived in Google Play, a simple book cover. This tablet has been on the market for some time now, so it almost comes off as pointless to start pushing out accessories, but we’ll take it. It comes in two colors, grey and scarlet, priced at $30.
The book cover is exactly like you would find for the Galaxy line of smartphones from Samsung. You take off the stock backing, reattach this new one with the cover added and you’re done. While this cover does not completely cover up the front side of the tablet (there is some room for the front-facing speakers), it does a decent job at staying on top of the N10’s display, protecting it from minor things.
To wrap it up, Google should have priced it at $20 and released it months ago, then everyone would be a winner. To catch my full thoughts, watch my hands-on video below. There is even a guest appearance as well.
