Just in case the front notification light on your device wasn’t getting the job done, we wanted to point out this app called FlashME that turns your phone’s rear camera flash into the ultimate notifier. In the free version, you can set it up to flash during calls and text messages, but if you want more control, you’ll have to pony up $0.99 for the full version which then allows you to pick and choose which apps are attached to FlashME.
I will say that the app is a bit intense and probably wouldn’t work for me on a daily basis. With that said, I can see how there could be times when you need some extra notification juice and this may come in handy.
