The next version of Android, no matter how small, is always big news to fans so it’s a bit odd that the only sightings we have seen of Android 4.2.2 is a slight mention last week. Today we get another glimpse of the newest build, but the video that it is in doesn’t show off any new features. In fact, the build number is kept to a slight showing of it near the end of the Nexus 4 walkthrough.
At this point we know next to nothing about 4.2.2 other than that it might be coming sometime in the future. With such a small upgrade in the build number it’s questionable how much is going to change as far as code goes, but Google usually doesn’t make a new build number unless they absolutely have to. If you are just dying to see the .2 in the system settings, it is shown at around 6 minutes in.
What do you think Google is doing with this next update?
