While Verizon is doing their thing and looking forward to futuristic networks, AT&T continues to keep chugging along, lighting up a few new 4G LTE markets this morning. AT&T plans to complete their LTE buildout by the end of 2014, only one year and a half after Big Red. Of course, that time frame could be pushed up as carriers become opponents in a data speeds arm race. In terms of customers seeing LTE, that makes us all winners in my book.
New markets as of 12/13/2012:
- Pullman, WA
- Reno, NV
- Allentown, PA
- Hattiesburg, MI
- Moscow, ID
- Richmond, VA
- Starkville, MI
