Video: Motorola Demos Their New Multi-Device HD Docks for the DROID 4

At least we think these HD docks are new. For so long, when Motorola introduces a new phone, they also introduce a new line of docks that are only compatible with that device. It’s unfortunate for users who buy multiple Moto devices or have upgraded from an old one. They end up having to re-buy all of their accessories again. Those days may be coming to an end though.

In a series of videos recently released for the DROID 4 (our unboxing), we get a look at two new HD docks that will work with multiple Moto tablets and smartphones (aside from the RAZR and RAZR MAXX). As long as your Moto tablet has a bottom port and your phone has a side port, you can use these new docks. They are adjustable depending on the phone and also work with cases. All I can say is, “It’s about damn time.”
