The new Google+ is available in the Android Market for all to install. It is being referred to as a “completely new app” with a new visual design that was inspired by the team that designed Android 4.0. You will see battery life and GPS improvements, a new posting UI, “significant” notifications tweaks, and more. After just a few minutes with it, I can definitely say that it matches the Youtube ICS app in styling, so they weren’t lying when they said it was meant to look similar. I love the way Google is starting to focus on design with their apps – long gone are the days when we were just happy to see them produce plain jane stuff. It’s time to make things pretty-fied.
And be sure to add my Droid Life specific page to your G+ circles.
Cheers michael!
