It has been over a month since we first saw CM7 booting up on the DROID Bionic, leading many of its owners without much hope. And then this week, developer hashcode found a way to get it up and running on the DROID3 which just so happens to be an almost identical chipset to the Bionic. What does that mean? That his method worked pretty seamlessly when attempted by Bionic owners looking to rid their lives of Blur.
So far, this latest method for CM is super-beta, meaning you shouldn’t try this unless you are a developer. This phone just may end up with a bright ROM future after all.
