Up until now, we have really just had a bunch of blurry cam shots of the DROID Bionic showing the same info that our sources have been telling us for months. But thanks to a video just posted by our homies over at Phandroid, we finally get some live action. The first thing you’ll notice is the boot animation which is essentially the same animation we saw back in May, so nothing incredibly new there.
We do however, get a look at the Bionic’s new Blur that many of you have become familiar with thanks to the DROID3. One thing I noticed though, is the speed at which this tipster was able to grab an icon and bounce it between screens. The DROID3 can accomplish a similar task, but that 1GB of RAM in the Bionic appears to make those transitions so much smoother.
The bootup time also seems to be above-average. We did see a home screen redraw in there and a laggy app drawer at first press, but that was just seconds after the phone had initially booted up and is usually expected.
There is an LTE speed test in there too at 1-bar coverage; nothing to get too excited about.
What do you guys think? Still torn?
