Verizon Schedules 4G LTE Press Conference for Tomorrow, Launching December 6th?

Verizon pinged us this morning with word that they will have a press conference tomorrow (December 1st) at 12 EST with Tony Melone, senior vice president and chief technical officer of Verizon Wireless, who will detail the company’s major 4G LTE network launch.

From the beginning, Big  Red has held strong on an “end of year” launch and our sources have reached out to tell us to expect Tony to announce that 4G LTE will go live on December 6th which is next Monday.  We haven’t heard if that means all markets or a select few to begin with, but the time is definitely now.

If only we could get some 4G LTE Android devices…none are expected before January.
