We just learned about a new Android app called GroupMe which allows you to easily create groups of friends, colleagues, or stalkers and mass text or conference call them. When you create a new group, a specific phone number is assigned to it which means that when anyone in the group sends a text or phone call to it, it hits everyone in the group. Pretty sweet right? Seems like a great way to hook up weekend plans with your friends. And from what I can tell, your friends won’t even need the app and simply need the phone number attached to it to enjoy the benefits.
