Motorola may have disappointed many of you when it decided against making a developer edition of the brand new Moto X (2nd gen) for Verizon, but Samsung is giving it us in the form of the Galaxy Note 4. That’s right, a Galaxy Note 4 Developer Edition that will work on Verizon’s network is officially “coming soon,” according to Samsung’s website.
The device isn’t listed with a price at this time, but if you click the “Add to Cart” button, you will see a price of $662.53. That’s a solid $30 cheaper than Verizon is selling the non-dev edition for. That price may not be final, though.
So, if you want a device made for tinkering, that has an unlockable bootloader, and works on Verizon, this may be your only phone of choice. Oh wait, the Nexus 6 is coming to Verizon.
