Thanks to a new leak from @evleaks, we are getting an up close look at the reported SHIELD Tablet from NVIDIA. The SHIELD Tablet was first rumored under the codename Mocha, a device that was intended specifically for gamers, harnessing the power of NVIDIA’s Tegra K1 processor.
From what we see in the image, it appears that the tablet features front-facing speakers, a decently-sized display, and a front-facing camera tucked into the speaker grille. Unfortunately, @evleaks wasn’t able to provide any finalized specifications for the tablet, but seeing as how NVIDIA has been hyping the Tegra K1 this year, it is probably safe to assume that their high-powered silicon will be at the heart of this device.
Previous rumors stated that the SHIELD Tablet would feature a 7.9″ display (2048 x 1536), 2GB of RAM, 7MP rear-facing camera, 4.8MP front-facing camera, 16GB of on-board storage, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi connectivity, and will run Android 4.4.2.
If priced accordingly, could you see yourself gaming with the SHIELD Tablet?
