Verizon’s DROID Bionic Landing Page Tweaked Slightly, Now Says “September”

It’s starting to feel like Verizon and Motorola are days, if not hours away from officially announcing the DROID Bionic‘s release date.  The teaser/landing page on VZW’s site has now been updated to include the word “September” rather than just, “Coming This Summer.”  And not that this is surprising by any means since Moto CEO Sanjay Jha mentioned September during their Q2 earnings call, but this is the first time we have seen Verizon make any reference to that time frame.  After all, releases always come down to Big Red’s word over the actual phone manufacturer – so this is a good sign.
